Chief Information Officer

Chris Dever holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Canterbury District Health Board. 

Formally, Chris was the Information Systems and Technology Manager for MidCentral District Health Board in Palmerston North, a role he has held for 10 years. During that time he has developed a high national profile in the health information management and technology within the sector.

Chris has a passion for delivering quality information technology in both a clinical and administrative setting.

Corporate Solicitor (Senior)

Greg Brogden

Greg started with Canterbury District Health Board in 2001 after having worked in private legal practice since 1991.  Greg deals primarily with medico-legal matters including Coroners, Health and Disability Commissioner and Police investigations and is a regular visitor to the hospitals.  Greg is also a Privacy Officer for the Canterbury District Health Board.

Sai Choong Loo

Sai Choong Loo joined Canterbury DHB as Risk & Assurance Manager, from the Ministry of Social Development where he was their Regional Risk and Assurance Advisor responsible for the South Island. Sai Choong gained his tertiary education from Australia and worked in Singapore before emigrating to New Zealand. He has wide experience in external audit, internal audit, consultancy and risk management, and has headed large internal audit departments in a commercial bank and an energy utility company. Sai Choong is a Fellow member of CPA Australia.”

Wayne Lawson

Wayne has been involved in commercial construction throughout his career, with spells with both contractors & consultants. His initial training was as an Engineer (he is a UK registered Chartered Engineer) but has worked in Construction & Property Management for the bulk of his 30 year career.
Wayne moved to NZ in 2001 & was part of the team involved with the Christchurch Women's Hospital which was completed in 2005. Wayne was appointed as Construction & Property Manager in 2008.
