CHILD DENTAL SERVICE
Our Services
Services are provided for two different groups ranging from birth to Year 8 of school.
Free regular check-ups and treatment are available through this service. Parents, guardians and whanau are encouraged to enrol their children for regular dental care. Information about pre-schoolers free dental care is also available through Plunket Nurses, GP's and Tamariki Ora Providers.
Registration / Referral Form for Pre-School Children
Registration Forms can be obtained by either contacting us directly, or through your Plunket nurse, GP or Tamariki Ora Provider.
You can also request registration forms by calling 0800 TINY TEETH (0800 846 983).
This service includes children from school Year 1 to school Year 8 and is provided by dental therapists through mobile and community dental clinics. Regular check-ups and treatment are provided. Children requiring care beyond the scope of dental therapists will be referred to private dentists or to specialist services at Christchurch Hospital.
